The Wind Beneath my wings..
Lots of techniques in this layout.. I used Fiskars "Apron Lace" Border Punch for the edging on the top and botton and the side piece. I layered several black, red, white, polka dot flowers, The small white flowers onthe red vine are inked with red ink - gems in the centers. I used Ink Essentials Glossy Accents to create the "dew drop" water affect. Kaiser Scrapbook Swirly rubons around the picture, glitter chipboard for the title.. layering is the "in" thing to do these days.. This is my favorite picture of me and my Mom circa 1965 :)
Thank Heaven for Little Girls!!
I love using my "In Stitch'z" floss by Bazzill! This paper had a design already cut out for me.. this is a collage of my daughter and funny little photo's
over the years.. She is the sunshine of my life..
I took the flower embellishments and accented them with stickles! Gotta love that stuff! Glitter is AWESOME!
Happy Valentine's day
As Time goes by..
Bling & Ribbon
Felt, Floss & Bling
Valentine's day is one of my favorite holidays.. I love the colors, hearts and flowers.. This layout is the result of my first experience with felt and paper.. I sewed the edges with my "In Stitch'z" floss by Bazzill.. I often find many different techniques in various magazines & blogs. One in particular was a felt page with hearts which was the inspiration for this layout with the
"mermaid twist" on it :)
"mermaid twist" on it :)
While rummaging through the clearance aisle at JoAnn's.. I found a children's valentine kit with embossed foam hearts in pink, white and red.. I decided to use them to create my own embellishments.. I used stickles in pink and red to decorate the white heart and sewed the edges with my pink floss. I added some pre-glittered heart shapes to the centers of my hearts and trimmed some pink felt using scalloped craft scissors, then attaching to the back. A couple glitter beads and there you go.
